          Mildred's reaction to reading the books was she thought they were useless and a waste of time while Montag felt disappointment because he began to feel that Beatty was right about them being useless and unreliable.

           Montag has a sort of breakdown on the subway. He also becomes infuriated with the commercial because he finds them annoying and irritating because they are things people value when in reality they are not valuable.

           The argument Montag makes for books is that they expand your imagination. Books provide you with a sense of creativity and variety while the reality they are in is the same.

           The White Clown show leads you to believe that television programming in this society is the same. Everything is on repeat and nothing is a different, it's all the same and doesn't seem to change at any point.

            Mrs. Phelps cries when Montag reads "Dover Beach" because it led her to think about what she is actually doing for a second. not much thought goes around in this society, but when she heard "Dover Beach", she thought.

            Montag's destination at the end of section II was his home because Mrs. Phelps called it in that Montag had been hiding books in his home.
